Congratulations on creating the new web site. You will create a great web site and be able to maintain it with Wordpress.
We have substantial information on line, some of which should be incorporated into the new web site. You can either copy it into the web site or link it to the appropriate social media, or both, which ever you prefer.
Examples - We have an excellent pictorial history with commentary on our Pinterest page. You can copy the info into the new web site and/or link back into it. It would be lot of work to copy it all into the site, probably best to link to the site.

We have minimal info on the web site about our Sister Cities. We have a lot of info and photos on Blogs and Pinterest.com for each of our Cities, with some historic photos and more recent photos of our visits.
The address for each Sister City starts with the city name, followed by Sarasota, followed by blogspot.com. You could copy some of the photos from those sites and/or link to them.
